Ameland – one of the Frisian islands, located just two hours away from Leeuwarden. Ameland is a unique piece of nature. The profusion of different plants on the island is caused by the immense variety of landscapes. The island is a beautiful place to relax, play at the beach, have picknicks and enjoy each others company.
The Ameland trip is the icing of the cake for all students and should not be missed! So do not miss to sign up for the amazing Ameland trip, taking place from the 20th-22nd of May. Sign up at the bottom of this page BEFORE May.

In the trip included are:
• A wad-walking tour!

• Transportation to the island and back to Leeuwarden!

The trip has always been a huge success! This year, we will be going to Ameland on the same weekend as the ESN, this means, you will be able to interact with the exchange students of the NHL and make even more friends from all over the world!
The trip will cost you 65 €, by signing up you are under the obligation to pay the whole sum. There is a 10 € bond, which is refundable, payable when you sign up.
